The Chevrolet Diagnosis and Repair app ("the app") is made by Chevy Suggestions (Marcus Sanders). This policy explains what the app does with information, in plain language.
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no server that receives your information. We cannot see what you do in the app.
If you use My Profile / My Garage, your vehicles, saved repairs, and your in-app search history are stored only in the app's storage on your own device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. If you clear the app's data or uninstall it, that information is deleted.
If you use Search by Photo in the Parts Finder, the photo is processed on your device to compare shapes and details you pick. The photo is not uploaded anywhere.
Some buttons open other apps or websites — for example Cash App (tips), YouTube (repair videos), auto parts stores (loaner tools and parts), and your email app (sending a suggestion). Those services have their own privacy policies, and anything you share there goes to them, not through this app.
If you choose to email a suggestion to chevysuggestions@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the message you wrote, and we use it only to read and act on your suggestion. We do not sell or share it.
The app is a vehicle repair reference for adults. It is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
